The below reports are prepared by the Office of the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process (UNSCO) and are presented to the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee (AHLC) at its bi-annual meeting.
The reports provide an assessment of the efforts of the Palestinian Government toward state-building and an update on the situation on the ground.
The Ad Hoc Liaison Committee (AHLC) serves as the principal policy-level coordination mechanism for development assistance to the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt). The AHLC is chaired by Norway and co-sponsored by the EU and the US. In addition, the United Nations participates together with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The AHLC seeks to promote dialogue between donors, the Palestinian Authority and the Government of Israel. Recours illégal, injustifié et disproportionné à la force lors de la gestion des manifestations publiques en RDC de janvier 2017 à janvier 2018
En 2017, les autorités ont largement restreint le droit à la liberté de réunion pacifique, poursuivant une tendance à la réduction de l’espace démocratique observée depuis le début de l’année 2015. Les manifestations organisées par des partis politiques de l’opposition et des organisations de la société civile pour contester le report des élections et le maintien au pouvoir du président Joseph Kabila Kabange au-delà de son deuxième mandat ont été régulièrement interdites par les autorités et violemment réprimées par les services de sécurité et les forces de défense.
