On 21st Sep 2016 Maj Gen Kieran Brennan, Deputy Chief of Staff Operations from the Irish Defence Forces met HoM/FC Maj Gen Jai Shanker Menon in UNDOF HQ. Maj Gen Brennan visited Irish troops in the mission and attended the Irish Contingent’s medal parade. During his visited Maj Gen Brennan complimented the Irish troops on their contribution to the mission’s continued success and paid tribute to the soldiers’ families for their support at home.
