24 Jul 2018 - Mr. President, Members of the Security Council,
  • 15 Jul 2018 - Welcome everyone and thank you very much for coming here. As I’m sure you will all agree, over the last few months the situation in Gaza deteriorated rapidly. This was the combination of three factors: First is the humanitarian factor. People’s life has become more difficult as people have limited money, the economy has collapsed, electricity and water are scarce.
  • 10 Jul 2018 - I am concerned by the consequences of Israel’s decision to temporarily suspend imports and exports with the exception of basic humanitarian supplies through the Kerem Shalom crossing. Humanitarian assistance is no substitute for commerce and trade. I urge the authorities to reverse this decision.

15 May 2018 - Mme President, Members of the Security Council, For the people of Gaza yesterday was a day of tragedy. There are no other words with which to describe what actually happened. There is no justification for the killing. There is no excuse.  It serves no one. It certainly does not serve the cause of peace.
  • UN Special Coordinator Mladenov’s in talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov (11 May 2018)

11 May 2018 - Thank you very much for your opening words, We are very concerned that there is a conflagration of conflicts currently in the Middle East that are raising tensions on all levels, including the situation in Syria, the situation in Yemen, and most certainly on the Palestinian track.
  • 02 May 2018 - “Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas chose to use his speech at the opening of the Palestinian National Council to repeat some of the most contemptuous anti-Semitic slurs, including the suggestion that the social behavior of Jews was the cause for the Holocaust. Such statements are unacceptable, deeply disturbing and do not serve the interests of the Palestinian people or peace in the Middle East.
