20 Nov 2019 - Madam President, Members of the Security Council, We meet today in the aftermath of the most serious recent escalation between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza. Although the immediate crisis was diffused, the situation remains highly volatile. -
13 Nov 2019 - “I am very concerned about the ongoing and serious escalation between Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Israel, following the targeted killing of one of the group’s leaders inside Gaza yesterday. The indiscriminate launching of rockets and mortars against population centres is absolutely unacceptable and must stop immediately.

27 Aug 2019 - Mr. President, Members of the Security Council, I am afraid that I must begin this month’s briefing to the Council by focusing on the rising specter of violence in the West Bank and Gaza and the threat of a regional escalation. Both are happening against the backdrop of the complete political deadlock of the Middle East Peace Process and the lack of any perspective to revive it. -
